I really like this song. The album also include appearances by Gotee Records' Ayiesha Woods on the song, "Highest Praise" and Rhythm & Praise Diva and Grammy nominee, Shea Atkins on the bonus track. Written, arranged and produced by Sherwin Gardner, Elevation is one of the most fun and inspiring albums of 2007, and I see nothing but great things for this singer/songwriter/producer who as an artist has shared stages with the likes of Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Deitrick Haddon, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, BeBe Winans, CeCe Winans, Vickie Winans, Ben Tunker, Stitchie, Papa San, TD Jakes and others. Actress Naima Imani Lett creates projects to encourage and entertain audiences toward truth and hope.

Actress Naima Imani Lett is all too familiar with the schism between Hollywood and Christianity.

Ar Recognizing the need to bridge the gap, she has embarked on a mission to bring light to a place that many Christians frown upon by reaching out to actors and actresses with a unique style of relationship-based ministry that promises to change hearts in Hollywood.

"Christians are called to be light in the world," says Lett. "For me as an actress, that means I am committed to portraying truth and telling stories that impact lives as well as give hope in an industry that can wear actors down very quickly. Can you imagine being judged every day based primarily on your physical attributes and how bankable those attributes are perceived to be? Or being overlooked for roles because you may not have the 'right' connections?" asks Lett. "Believe me, there is enough hurt, frustration and rejection for actors to experience without the body of Christ piling on more. I invite followers of the faith to join me in uplifting, encouraging and reaching out to as many artists as we possibly can," she says.

Lett is known for her recurring role of Jackie Ormond in Lifetime's original series "Inspector Mom." Her character, Jackie, is a young soccer-mom-with-a-secret. The latest episode, "Rake Your Thieves," reveals Jackie's struggles.

She will also begin filming her latest Lifetime project, "Queen Size," directed by award-winning television director Peter Levin. She plays Lucy Phillips, a passionate reporter who breaks the story about the discrimination being experienced by an overweight high school senior who is running for homecoming queen.

In addition to recent television roles on Fox's "Prison Break" and BBC America's "Wire in the Blood," Lett has been inspiring audiences across the nation with her one-woman play, "Shattered Silhouettes," a powerful and moving drama based on the stories of five women from the Bible -Eve, Jezebel, Leah, Tamar, and Mary - and how they deal with hope, tragedy, love, power, and abuse.

She recently co-founded "Lett's Rise! Ministries" to create inspirational films, theatre and music that encourage, entertain and spur audiences toward truth and hope. We have got a lot of work to do and a lot of ground to cover if we are really serious about taking the gospel to the world through music. By this I mean actually reaching the unsaved millions of souls worldwide. In other words we have to break down the barriers that keep Gospel Reggae, Rap, Rock, R & B, Pop and any other form of Christian music out of the mainstream media. Its not enough for us to perform at concerts where primarily Christian youths are in attendance, or to sell our Cd's in only Christian music stores, or play our music on just Christian radio stations and show our music videos on just Christian television networks. Our next move is to get out there and just do it ! This generation has been MTV'd and BET'd to death; its time for us to go mainstream. We will only be truly effective and influence our generation for the glory of God when we can make a truly lasting IMPACT, let the Revolution Begin. To Be Continued...

I truly believe music moves us, and that is not to say just emotionally or physically, it truly influences and changes our lives. It can motivate or inspire us to do things that are either positive or negative. There is so much trash being played on the radio and evidently because there are so many artists singing trash and representing a lifestyle of futility. But there is a Righteous Revolution taking place as I write this right now, the generation of Christian youth who refuse to bow to the deception of the culture and society in which we now live. Out of this generation there is arising a YOUTH with One Voice, One Vision and One Message that is proclaiming Jesus is Lord !

Radical rhythms is the term I use for unsuppressed, uncensored, and uncompromising music that is emanating from the younger generation in the Kingdom of God proclaiming the Blood Washed Word of God. Holy Hip Hop and Christian Reggae, Dub, Pop and R & B are not just genres of music but a new definition of what music really is radical. This is all new to the world, Christian artists are redeeming and redefining music, proclaiming Christ and representing the Kingdom of God in a radical way through their uncompromising lyrics.

I will expound further on the Holy Hip Hop Movement and the Radical Reggae music that is blazing the trail for the honor and glory of God. We are the generation that is taking music back from the kingdom of darkness and using it to advance the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I truly believe that music and entertainment is a tool of evangelism. All truth is truth as long as it is the TRUTH ... the point is that there is no difference if the gospel is presented to our generation through hip hop , rock, rap or reggae as long as it glorifies God, and JESUS is lifted up and people are drawn to Him that's all that counts. Positive Vibes, Righteous Rhythms and Radical Truth Coming Your Way ... I just want to BIG up all the Christian Reggae, Hip Hop, Pop and R & B artists who are taking the message of the gospel to the streets, the communities in which they live, their country and the world at large.
